TOURNAMENT PROGRESSION

Saturday

Starting at 2 p.m. (CEST): 128th-finals
Starting at 3:30 p.m. (CEST): 64th-finals
Starting at 5 p.m. (CEST): 32nd-finals
Starting at 6:30 p.m. (CEST): 16th-finals

Sunday

Starting at 2 p.m. (CEST): 8th-finals
Starting at 3:30 p.m. (CEST): Quarterfinals
Starting at 5 p.m. (CEST): Semifinals
Starting at 6:30 p.m. (CEST): Final

Matches will be played in BO3 format, which means each player will have to prepare 3 different decks (with 3 different Gods), and will go through a tournament bracket such as this one:

The “Conquest” game format means that if you win, you must change deck for the next battle. To be the best, you'll have to be flexible and a well-rounded competitor! However, if you lose your match, you may choose to keep it for the next round OR change for your other available deck.

Once the tournament bracket has been created on Toornament, and published here, send your opponent a friend request in order to communicate and challenge him*. Before your match even begins, your opponent will have to opportunity to ban one of your decks, and you will do the same.

Here’s an example of how it works (Player X being on the top row of the tournament bracket, Player Y being on the bottom of that same bracket):

Each player announce his first choice of deck in this order:

  • Player X announce his first choice: Cra
  • Player Y announce two of his choices: Sacrier and Cra
  • Player X tells the two remaining choices: Iop and Xelor
  • Player Y tells his last choice: Iop

Once both players know their opponent’s selection, players will ban one deck each, starting with Player Y:

  • Player Y bans Iop
  • Player X bans Iop as well (gee, I wonder why!)

Be warned, your deck selection is only locked for the current battle, players can change their decks between two different opponents.

Once your match is completed, get your scores directly on Toornament! Don’t forget to take a screenshot of your victory before your screen becomes blurry, when you break the second real Dofus.

You can find the tournament rules in this file right here.

*If your opponent takes more than 15 minutes to answer your challenge, he will be declare forfeit and you will win the match.

HOW CAN I WATCH THE TOURNAMENT?

As a spectator or as a contestant, if you’d like to know in real time what is happening on the tournament, try to log in to Discord. A special channel dedicated to the tournament has even been created!

It’s also at this place that you can easily contact the tournament’s admins if you have a question or a conflictual situation. They will also be in their separate channel so you can easily spot them!

We’ve also find a way for you to follow the games directly from your couch, on this brand new Krosmaga Twitch channel! While broadcasted mostly in French, you will find there games commented by professional casters such as Proto, Babel and Jeffrey, accompanied by high-ranking players like Midl, Ellie, Gobelyn, Shaodaze, Blurst and AkaOni. Matches will be pre-recorded starting at 2:00 PM and a 30 minutes delay will be applied to the stream in order to avoid streamhacks. And during their broadcast, they will spice things up by giving away free boosters packs and Noxine cards!

As a contestant, don't forget to activate the setting allowing spectator mode on your games. Casters will send you a friend request on Saturday and we will tell you which account(s) to accept as friend(s) as soon as possible.

We hope to see you around to cheer up the contestants! See you on Saturday at 2:00 PM CET!

The Spring Kup: official Krosmaga tournament

Were you thrilled by Krosmaga's first official tournament? Do you want to see a second tournament? Are you eager for wild matches and win big at the end? Then you'll love the Spring Kup!

Winter has been over for a few weeks now, the snow is melting, and water is flowing through the plains of the Krosmoz. The gods are enjoying the view from miles above, and are continuing to enjoy the many fights taking place each day in Krosmaga. They're sipping Bamboo Milk while recollecting the achievements of Shadoaze and Jambonfromagequiroule in the final of the Frozen Arena.

"What if we did it all over again?" suggests Iop, still eager for a fight.

"We'd need more people than last time!" replies Sacrier, already enticed by the smell of blood.

"Oh yes, yes, yes! And let's offer some great things to be won!" Eniripsa goes one further, always so generous.

"Well, in that case, we'll organize a new tournament!" proclaims Ecaflip, happy to hear his companions' suggestion.

And that's how the Spring Kup came into existence. For months on end, Ecaflip's disciples have been preparing this new tournament, and now, we are pleased to present this new grand event to you, with, for the first time, a cash prize of 3000€ on the table!

WHEN?

The tournament will take place over 4 weekends.

The first 3 are reserved for qualifying tournaments, with 256 players competing in each of them, whereas the last one will bring together the 64 best players in one final tournament = the top 16 players of each qualifying tournament + the top 16 players from the April seasonal rankings. We can expect quite the show from them!

The Qualifying Tournaments

Qualifying Tournament I: 256 players: Saturday, April 22 and Sunday, April 23

Qualifying Tournament II: 256 players: Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30

Qualifying Tournament III: 256 players: Saturday, May 6 and Sunday, May 7 > Warning, this tournament will be held entirely in English! If you're an international player and don't quite understand the subtelties of French, register on this tournament, your registration will be prioritized.

Each qualifying tournament will take place as follows:

Saturday

  • Starting at 2 p.m. (CEST): 128th-finals
  • Starting at 3:30 p.m. (CEST): 64th-finals
  • Starting at 5 p.m. (CEST): 32nd-finals
  • Starting at 6:30 p.m. (CEST): 16th-finals

Sunday

  • Starting at 2 p.m. (CEST): 8th-finals
  • Starting at 3:30 p.m. (CEST): Quarterfinals
  • Starting at 5 p.m. (CEST): Semifinals
  • Starting at 6:30 p.m. (CEST): Final

The Final Tournament

As we explained before, the final tournament will gather the 64 best players from both the qualifying tournament and the April ladder. It will take place on Saturday, May 13 and Sunday, May 14.

Here is the schedule:

Saturday

  • Starting at 2 p.m. (CEST): 32nd-finals
  • Starting at 4:30 p.m. (CEST): 16th-finals
  • Starting at 7 p.m. (CEST): 8th-finals

Sunday

  • Starting at 2 p.m. (CEST): Quarterfinals
  • Starting at 4:30 p.m. (CEST): Semifinals
  • Starting at 7 p.m. (CEST): Final

These times are for information only and may be modified if the tournament is delayed due to an unforeseen event.

HOW CAN YOU TAKE PART?

Registration for the qualifying tournaments will open 4 days before the start of the tournaments: at 7 p.m. (CEST) on the Tuesday before the tournament. Be sure to have your whole week-end free of any obligations before registering. It would be a shame if you would hold a place on the tournament without competing in it after all (you may have to re-schedule your latest TV show binge). You will receive an e-mail from Toornament under 48h once your registration has been validated.

First come, first served: be sure to subscribe quickly to the tournament of your choice! In addition, each player can only register for one qualifying tournament, no more. Be sure to select your tournament with care! (If, by any chance, you would register to a tournament but couldn't be selected, by lack of available space for instance, you will have the right to register for another tournament)

In order to take part in the final tournament, you'll need to reach the 8th-finals in one of the qualifying tournaments, or be in the top 16 of the April season of ranked matches.

Just in case you don't understand, 16 players will come from qualifying tournament I, 16 players will come from qualifying tournament II, 16 players will come from qualifying tournament III, and the last 16 players will come from the seasonal leaderboard.

If one of the players in the top 16 of the April season manages to qualify in one of the qualifying tournaments or does not wish to take part in the tournament, we will select the 17th from the ranking. Qualifying places will be distributed as such until there are 16 players who wish to take part in the final tournament.

Register for the Qualifying tournament 1

Register for the Qualifying tournament 2

Register for the Qualifying tournament 3

To register for one of the qualifying tournaments, you need to have a Toornament account in your name. You can already create an account here.

When you register for one of the tournaments, make sure you use your in-game nickname. It is very important for the tournament's organization, as it will be difficult get into contact with your opponents during the tournament if you don't.

TOURNAMENT PROGRESSION

All matches in the qualifying tournaments will be BO3* in a tournament tree, whereas matches in the final tournament will be BO5**. You therefore need to prepare at least 3 different decks (using 3 different gods) if you want to take part in one of the qualifying tournaments. You'll need 4 of them if you qualify for the final tournament.

All matches will take place in the "Conquest" style: this means that if you win a match with your deck, you need to change deck for the following fight. If you really want to prove you're the best, you'll need to show how multi-talented you are! This means that if you lose a match with you deck, you can choose to keep your current deck OR change it for the following match.

* BO3 means "Best of 3", which means you have to win 2 times to be declared winner. It results in scores like: 2-0 or 2-1.

** BO5 means "Best of 5", which means you have to win 3 times to be declared winner. It results in scores like: 3-0, 3-1, or 3-2.

For the final tournament, all participants will be distributed randomly, without their place in the qualifying tournament or seasonal leaderboard being taken into account.

THE PRIZES!

You've read it before, we'll say it again: there's a cash prize totaling €3,000 offered in this second official tournament!

Here's what you can win in the qualifying and final tournaments:
